How to take care of Belgian Flag
For best results soak the roots for approx. 2 hrs before planting and water well for the next few weeks. Some Belgian Flag make good conservatory plants and others are perfect for summer bedding. Plant Belgian Flag using a well-drained soil in a sunny position and partial shade.
Water frequently in the growing season, try to keep the soil moist and feed often, from mid spring to early autumn. During growth you might need to trim back to encourage new and bushy growth and pinch the tips.
This is a half-hardy deciduous shrub so in winter they will need protection from the cold and frost, cover with a thick layer of mulch. Replant every year or discard every two years for new ones.
