Acadiana™ Red broad-leaf evergreens thrive in full sun and partial shade throughout USDA growing zones 6 to 9. It is extremely adaptable, growing in all soils from sand to clay, and in moist to dry soil too. Once established, these Hollies are very drought-tolerant and pest-resistant! Water regularly until established, and apply a 3-4 inch thick layer of mulch for best results. If pruning is needed, do so in the spring.
