Cold-hardy and small-statured, the Angel Daisy™ Shasta Daisy (Leucanthemum x ‘Angel’) is a nice short, and floriferous single-flowered Daisy! Featuring thin petals for a finer textured bloom, they still have the classic bright yellow eye that is the perfect landing pad for butterflies and bees!

The bright green mound of foliage that Leucanthemums grow, has delightful scalloped edges and remains handsome all growing season long! The long-lasting blooms that float above these leaves last from mid-spring until mid-summer and are equally long-lasting in vases and bouquets!

Angel Daisy™ is cold-hardy from zones 4 and heat tolerant up to zone 8. These are low-moisture perennials once established and thrive in brief drought conditions. Generally pest, disease and issue-free plants, they’re also low-maintenance and care-free!

Planting and Application:

Daisies are classic perennial and mixed beds and borders plants that no cottage garden, cutting border or pollinator garden should be without! This shorter variety is fantastic for small-space gardening, to use as edging along borders and walkways, and for tucking into sunny porch pots and balcony containers!

Angel Daisy™ can brighten rock gardens and even survive that hell-strip along the road or sidewalk. Plant in front of larger shrubs and perennials to hide their bare legs and give foundation plantings a vibrant boost. These cheerful sunny blooms are natural gift plants for about any occasion!

  • Cheerful Fine-Textured White Petals & Yellow Eye

Tips for Care:

Shasta Daisy not only look like the sun, but they also thrive in it! Any sunny location with at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day will make them happy! The soil type is adaptable but it must be well-drained, they hate wet winter soils. Deadhead for the best look and bloom and prune in late autumn after the frosts have killed back their tops. Mulch their beds well.

  • Mulch Well & Moderate Moisture
  • Deadhead After Bloom & Prune Late Autumn
