Astilbe arendsii Diamant prefer a sunny to partially shady position and must not be allowed to dry out. In warmer climates a thick mulch layer of well-rotted manure helps the soil to retain moisture, and in colder areas it will help protect again frost damage.
Flowers will appear all summer. Divide well-established clumps every 4 years.
