Bewitched Rose (Rosa ‘Bewitched’)

Bewitched Rose

Get ready to fall under her spell! Webster’s Dictionary defines something bewitching as being able to “enchant, fascinate or attract as if by the power of witchcraft”. That definitely describes this classic pink Hybrid Tea Rose which has been bewitching Rose lovers everywhere for almost 50 years!

Bewitched Hybrid Tea Rose (Rosa ‘Bewitched’) is a gorgeous evenly colored, 5″ double-petalled, cotton-candy pink Rose! It looks pearlescent and radiant in the sunshine! This award-winning flowering ornamental is known as much for its intense, deep true-Damask-Rose scent and very long vase life as it is for its stunning pink color! Bewitched constantly wins competitions and its urn-shaped blooms are always a hit in bouquets!

This Hybrid Tea Rose is healthy and vigorous and yields an abundance of pointed buds, held aloft over glossy green foliage and long, strong reddish stems just waiting to be snipped for your floral arrangements! Hardy throughout USDA growing zones 5 to 9, this smaller Rose shrub grows 3-4 feet in height and 2-3 feet in width and despite being around a long time, has wonderful disease resistance.

Tips for Care:

Rose needs at least six hours of sunlight a day to encourage reblooming flushes and plant in a location with enriched, well-drained soil and good air circulation, and Hybrid Tea Rose bushes are no exception! Choose your planting site with care and you’ll reap the rewards with their heavenly scent! Provide supplemental water on a regular basis. Provide 3-4 inches of arborist mulch over the top of the root system to keep weeds at bay, but keep the mulch pulled back away from the stems.

Use Nature Hills Root Booster in the planting hole as a symbiotic formula works to support the tiny feeder roots over the whole life of your Rose bush. For the longest, sturdiest stems, fertilize in spring with a Rose formula and reapply according to the directions.
