Designed to make planting bulbs easy, this tough transplanter will dig, lift and drop soil in one easy action. Much quicker and easier than using a trowel to plant your bulbs, using a bulb planter also minimises root disturbance of nearby plants.
Chrome plated to reduce soil debris from sticking to the planter, graduated markings on the side of the planter helps you select the correct depth for each bulb, and the serrated cutting surface helps to easily penetrate the soil, removing a plug of soil and holding it in the planter.
Simply place your bulb in the hole and press the spring-loaded handle to open the base of the planter, and release the soil back into the hole. Length 23 cm.
