This clematis is new to the market and it won’t be sold many places this year, so we’re proud to be one of the few offering Midori to home gardeners. First and foremost, it is an extraordinary performer—it’ll consistently produce double blooms, no matter if they’re growing on old or new wood, so you’ll have an uninterrupted floral show. The flowers are gorgeous too. They’re so fully double, they look like fluffy chrysanthemums. The green, blush and white color palette is perfect for spring, and very much in vogue right now. Midori is a medium-to-large-sized vine with blooms all the way from the bottom to the top, so there aren’t any bare stems to worry about covering up. You can train it up a trellis in the garden or in a container. This actually works well for a cutting garden, too. The non-stop double blooms mean you’ll have the perfect cut flowers all through its mid spring into summer season. Plus, the stems are nice and strong and the flowers stay impressive through a long vase life. Clematis ‘Midori’
