Giant Leopard Plant For Sale

Colorful Blooms Contrast Against Large, Round Leaves

Why Giant Leopard Plants?

Contrasting daisy-like yellow blooms on tall stems against sizable, rounded and shiny green leaves, the Giant Leopard Plant lives up to its name in a full, robust silhouette. And though it’s defined as a perennial plant, it thrives year-round as an evergreen in milder winter climates.

So, not only is it good-looking, but it’s also versatile. Especially since it adapts to woodland settings, mass hedging and low, damp spots. It’s perfect for placing around water features, pools or stream beds for an eye-catching focal point in especially moist areas.

For starters, the Giant Leopard Plant is better because it’s easy to maintain. But aside from its hassle-free care, ours is the best because we’ve planted, monitored and shipped it with the utmost care. You can be sure you’re getting a proven, consistent performer since we’ve put in the extra work to ensure it thrives.

And wherever you plant it, it adapts and acclimates to your homescape well, standing out with its unique foliage and richly-hued blooms.

Planting & Care

1. Planting: It’s easy to maintain, but it’s important that you plant your Giant Leopard Plant in rich, moist but well-drained soil and in a fully to partially shaded area. Once you’ve selected your location, simply dig a hole that’s two to three times the width of your Leopard’s root ball, place the plant and back fill its soil. After planting, water to settle its roots.

2. Watering: Water regularly and deeply during the first growing season, about once or twice per week or when your Leopard’s surrounding soil is dry. Check for soil dryness about 2 to 3 inches down – if the soil is dry, it’s time to water. Once your plant is established, continue to water it regularly to maintain evenly moist soil.

3. Fertilizing: Apply a well-balanced fertilizer yearly, before new growth emerges during spring.

4. Pruning: No pruning necessary – simply remove spent flowers to promote continued blooming.
