Tips for Care

Plant your GreatMyrtle™ Cherry Delight in full sun for the brightest display. They require at least six hours of sunshine a day.

Well-drained soil is also a must. Elevate your planting in a mound or raised bed if you have soggy or heavy clay soil.

Give your Cherry Delight Crape Myrtle shrubs a regular schedule of water, especially when they are young. Container-grown plants must have supplemental water regularly.

In Zone 5 and 6, prune off winter-damaged stems to ground level in early spring. They’ll bounce back to full height over the course of a single season.
