Tips for Care:

These are easy-to-care-for herbaceous perennials that do best in part sun, Krossa Regal Hostas prefers afternoon shade to full shade in hotter climates. Moist to average soil that doesn’t dry out for long is preferable. Tolerant of any soil type, just be sure it’s well-drained. Juglone, pollution and salt-tolerant, Krossa is also deer and rabbit resistant! Preferring a pH between 5.5 and 7.5. A generous 3-4 inch thick layer of mulch chips helps retain soil moisture as well as insulate the root system from heat and chill. The thick leaves resist slug damage quite well, just be sure to remove debris each winter to deter slugs and other pests from having a place to hide. Remove all foliage in the fall after the frost has killed back the tops. Divide the mounds every 3-5 years to maintain vigor.
