How to take care of Limonium latifolium 9 cm
Plant in well-drained soil in full sun to part shade position. Tolerates salt spray and desert heat. Plant level with surrounding soil, spreading roots outward. Always water well after planting and for the next few weeks until it becomes established.
In winter apply leaf or bark mulch 1 – 3 inches around the plants. To prolong flowering we encourage you to remove spent flower stalks. Divide every 2 to 3 years in the spring to renew its vigour. Division can be done in early to late spring or root cuttings can be taken in mid-winter and grown indoors or in a cold-frame until spring and then placed outdoors.
