Little Bunny Fountain Grass 2

This low-maintenance ornamental grass can do so much. Growing just 8-18″ tall with a 10-15″ spread, it works well as a ground cover or tucked into a container. Gardeners also use it for rain gardens, erosion control and as a companion for flowering perennials. Its graceful, foutainlike form looks elegant when it sways in the breeze—and its 3-4″ plumes are lovely in the garden as well as in fresh and dried floral arrangements. The dark green grass turns russet gold in the fall. Plant in full sun to partial shade. Deer tend to avoid. Zones 5-10. Pennisetum alopecuroides ‘Little Bunny’
