How to take care of Snowflake
Known as catnip or catmint. Nepeta will tolerate most soil types although it prefers a slightly acidic soil in full sun or part shade. This variety likes fairy dry conditions. May need support underneath to prevent stems flopping over in wind and rain.
Plants should be cut back after flowering to ensure they keep their compact shape and encourage a second flowering. Do not fertilise this plant as it will become too leggy. Divide plants in spring. Cats can be prevented from flattening plants if twiggy sticks are inserted into the soil around plants.
