Parkland Pillar Birch

Upright, Dense Habit + White Bark & Golden Foliage

Why Parkland Pillar® Birch Trees?

Delivering unmatched ornamental value across all seasons, the Parkland Pillar® Birch Tree stands tall and elegant in any space. From its classic white bark to its narrow, upright, and dense habit, the Parkland Pillar® is a shade tree that’s second to none.

This fast-growing variety gives you full green foliage that transitions to a dramatic gold in the fall. Plus, its narrow, more compact silhouette makes it ideal as an accent for your yard, or planted in a row to form an eye-catching screen along borders, driveways, and streets.

Through pollution, alkaline soil, and heat, the Parkland Pillar® Birch Tree stands strong. You won’t have to water it either, since it thrives on rainfall alone.

We’ve planted, grown, and nurtured your Parkland Pillar® Birch Tree before it ships, so you get a healthy head start. Your Parkland Pillar® Birch arrives with a more developed root system and better branching – something you won’t find at big-box retailers and other nurseries.

Your Parkland Pillar® Birch Tree from Garden Center Point is made to last a lifetime.

The only catch? These elegant shade trees sell out quickly. Don’t miss out on your chance to add this beauty to your landscape.

Planting & Care

1. Planting: Plant your tree in a spot that is protected from the harsh afternoon sun for the best color. It prefers well-drained soil and about 4 to 6 hours of sunlight daily but will tolerate heat and drought. Plant in a hole twice as wide but just as deep as the root ball. Cover the ground in a layer of mulch to protect the roots, and water deeply to settle roots.

2. Watering: Watering is only necessary during dry periods, especially while it is establishing.

3. Pruning: No pruning is necessary, but if you do want to prune to size or shape, wait until your Parkland Pillar® Birch is not actively sapping.
