How to take care of Phlox Candy Stripe
Planting site: well-drained soil in full sun. If plants become too large, you can divide them in late summer. Take care whilst planting to loosen up the root balls this will help them spread more quickly.
Apply some organic fertilizer once every spring. During early summer, apply a standard border fertilizer to boost growth and plant health. Deadhead to keep Phlox from looking ragged by removing any old, dead stems.
Trimming an inch off the top of the plant, and cutting back stems can lead to more full growth in the summer and into the following growing season. Drought tolerant once established.
