Spring Fever® Mix Icelandic Poppy (Papaver nudicaule ‘Spring Fever Mix’) is a delightful sunset-colored mixture of delicately petalled blossoms with decorative raised centers and yellow eyes. The centers are even crowned in a ring of golden anthers.
Spring Fever® Mix features crepe-paper petals in a rainbow of randomly selected individual plants grown together. You will receive a mixture that can include golden yellows, rusty oranges, rusty reds, whites and orange hues. Rising high above the foliage on a slender stem. The green foliage mounds are filled with densely packed lobed leaves that look great even when these perennials are not blooming!
Icelandic Poppy are easy to care for plants that feature unique seed pods for interest after the blooms fade, and the seeds even sound like rattles once they’ve dried, adding sound to your landscapes. Or you can deadhead to keep the seeds from self-seeding and clean up the mound.
Planting and Application:
These perennials are very cold hardy in USDA zones 3 – 7, and do well in garden beds and borders, cutting gardens, pollinator borders and in containers for delicate blossoms indoors or out! The cheerful color collection goes great with a wide variety of other perennial blooms all spring and into summer.

Tips for Care:
Poppy plants love full sun and can handle partial sun and afternoon shade. Preferring well-drained moist to slightly drier soils without being picky on soil type. Provide a layer of Arborist mulch to hold in moisture and keep roots cool.
