How to take care of Tibouchina Rich Blue
These plants need to be grown under glass in a greenhouse or conservatory (min. temperature 7degrees (45F)). You can plant in autumn or spring. Plant in a large planter in well-drained soil based compost out of direct sunlight.
Water freely in the summer and sparingly in the winter. Fertilize with liquid fertilizer during spring and summer. Remove faded flowers and foliage as they fade. Prune regularly to restrict size and pinch the tips of young growths in early summer to encourage new branching.
