Now anyone can grow Apple trees! Super slender Urban Apples® Blushing Delight™ Columnar Apple (Malus x ‘UEB 3727-4’) make a wonderful garden accent and produce juicy fruit at home!

The crop is produced on fruit spurs that hug the main leader closely. First developed in the Czech Republic, the Urban Apples series has taken the world by storm; and for good reason!

Planting and Application:

Cute and compact, Blushing Delight Apple tree adds a fanciful feel to your deck, porch or even balcony. Grow them in large resin pots … and get ready for the compliments.

  • Kids are fascinated by these unique fruit trees. Plant a pair to teach the next generation about where their food comes from!
  • Sweet Blushing Delight fruit blushes red when it’s ripe. You’ll be harvesting full-size fruit from this high-end Columnar-style Apple tree!
  • Like their name suggests, Urban Apples trees are hardy and put up with city conditions. City dwellers can finally one-up their country cousins with these sleek, fruiting trees.
  • This is a narrow, fast-growing, precocious Apple that might even give you fruit the first season. Be sure to plant it with our pollination partner: Urban Apples® Golden Treat™ Columnar Apple; or Dolgo Crabapple for proper cross-pollination.
  • The trees look beautiful in spring, too. You’ll be delighted with their white springtime bloom display!

Tips for Care:

Select a planting site in full sun with well-drained soil. If you keep them in pots, ensure you choose a deep pot with plenty of room for the root system.

  • You’ll gain life-long benefits from Nature Hills Root Booster used in the planting hole. Symbiotic ingredients like mycorrhizal fungus support the feeder roots and never “wear out”.
  • Provide a consistent amount of water for best results. Mulch around the tree trunk to a depth of three inches; pulling it back away from touching the trunk directly.
  • Pruning is not usually required, but you should thin the young crop early in the season. Space them to every six inches to allow the mature fruit to reach its full size.
