Violet Rebecca (Viola ‘Rebecca’)

Violet Rebecca

Violet Rebecca Viola ‘Rebecca’, has sweet, vanilla scented flowers that are uniquely colored white with a yellow flush in the center, and then flecked with deep purple around the edges. No two are alike, but every one of these purple flowers is irresistible.

The clean, evergreen foliage is clump forming and remains attractive all season. Very long blooming, in cooler areas of the country, Viola ‘Rebecca’ flowers from May through October!

Violet Rebecca offers a compact habit, a strong vanilla perfume, and striking purple flowers. It likes to bloom heavily all summer, and ‘Rebecca’ is guaranteed to delight your eyes and nose from spring till hard frost.

Violets grow best in cool, moist, shady environments. In the north, plants can tolerate full sun but prefer partial to full shade. Shade from deciduous trees is ideal because the plants growing below receive full sun in the spring, followed by protection from the harsh summer sun once the trees leaf out.

If plants are cut back after the first bloom cycle, they may bloom again in the fall.
